California Paints is a division of the California Products
Corporation, an innovative manufacturer of quality paints,
coatings, and sports surfacing systems. The company was
originally founded in 1926 as a manufacturer of colored
stuccos and interior plasters, which remained popular
through the 1930's and 40's.
Today, California Paints continues to blaze a trail in
the paint industry. Recently, its line of 2010 Interior
and Exterior Finishes set a new standard for 100% Acrylic
Latex technology that other companies are still trying to
equal. The Fres~Coat house paint has been rated #1 by a
leading consumer publication. In the new millennium,

Benjamin Moore & Co.
Benjamin Moore & Co., a Berkshire Hathaway company,
has produced quality paint since 1883. Throughout
the 20th century, new products developed rapidly,
including washable flat finishes, lead- free paints,
and latex-based products. While steady growth marked
the first half of the century, the post WWII period
experienced dramatic results. Currently, Benjamin

THE HOME BEAUTIFUL RETURN POLICY
- Your name, address and the original sales receipt are required for all refunds or returns.
- The product must be in saleable condition.
- Tinted paints are non-returnable.
- Custom ordered or non-stocking products may incur a restocking fee set by the manufacturer and in
some instances may not be returnable.
- Refunds on purchases paid by cash will be refunded in cash unless store funds are not available in
which event, a refund check will be issued. Refunds on purchases paid for by check will be made on
the same basis but only after your check has cleared (usually within 14 days). Purchases paid for by
credit card will only be refunded by a credit to the cardholder's account.
SPECIAL ORDERS
Any paint or sundry items that are not regularly stocked by The Home Beautiful are considered SPECIAL
ORDERS and therefore are subject to a 50% deposit before the order can be placed. Please also note that
SPECIAL ORDERED ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABE.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Our warranty is the warranty supplied by the manufacturer of the product. Warranties vary from
company to company and in most cases do not include the cost of labor to repaint. We will be happy
to help you resolve any problems that may arise. Please take special care in dealing with the following
common problems which will cause premature paint failure: improper or inadequate surface preparation,
mildew, tannin bleed, mill scale, moisture content, and temperature. Ask us about proper procedures for
these conditions, read our surface prep guide; or, visit our website at www.homebeautiful.com for more
information.
CAUTION: It is your responsibility to ensure that the proper surface preparation is completed and that
the paint color is correct prior to painting. Please note that color samples are affected by sheen, age, light,
heat, shading and mechanical coating processes and therefore may appear slightly different once applied to
your walls.
